Scooters​

A mobility scooter, also known as a Power Operated Vehicle (POV), has a mid-level support seat over three or four wheels and handlebar steering arrangement in front to turn the wheels. The seat may swivel to allow access when the front is blocked by the handlebars. A battery or two is stored on board the scooter and is charged via an off-board battery charger.

Powered Wheelchairs​

A power wheelchair, also known as an electric wheelchair, offers a mid to high level support seat over four or six wheels and joystick steering arrangement. Elevating leg rests, oxygen tank carrier and specialized cushions are available when medically necessary as well as many out-of-pocket accessories. Two batteries are stored off board are charged via an off-board battery charger.
